Back...with Rob Zombie!

Haven't posted any thing lately and well id like to start posting again, so here we go! I saw Rob Zombie last night at a local venue, called The Catalyst in downtown Santa Cruz, CA.
This was one of the few shows he was doing as a "warm up" show before he hits Europe for the first time in years. It also was the first time he did a small venue like The Catalyst in 15 years! Any ways the opening band was Eyes Set to Kill. They actually surprised me, the hot girls in the band dominated! The bassist was awesome and don't forget hot and the dual vocals made a pretty good metal-core band. After 30min of being surrounded by pot smoking sweaty dudes, Rob Zombie finally came on. Since Joey Jordison could not make it do to his touring in Europe,  Marylin Manson's drummer Ginger Fish filled in. Zombie played many of his hits Dragula, Scum of the Earth, More Human Than Human, etc and songs they don't play live much, such as Pussy Liquor and Werewolf Woman of the SS. Rob teased the crowd by walking of stage a few times and threatening not to play Thunder Kiss 65, but I found it all good humor. Overall Rob Zombie can defiantly put on a fun show, especially with John 5 as his guitarist...can you say epic guitar solo's? So I guess tonight he was suppose to play in Reno, but he is sick.... looks like Santa Cruz lucked out!
