Gojira finally back with L'enfant Sauvage

Finally one of the most respected bands in the new age of metal which is the french metallers Gojira have released a new album! The album's name is fun as hell to say in french accent also "L'enfant Sauvage". After hearing the few singles a few months before hand I new this album was gonna live up to good old Gojira and raise the bar. The opening song Explosia gets you right into the Gojira mood, its just like their old stuff but with fresh touch of "holy shit this is awesome". The title song L'enfant Sauvage just adds icing to the cake. The Axe is my personal favorite from the album. The melodic riff is just so pleasing to the ears and the almost rhythmic aggressive chant like vocals make the song just so euphoric.
The most popular song from the album seems to be The Gift of Guilt. The intro is by far the most melodic Gojira has ever gotten, made me think of Amon Amarth.  I can see why the song is so popular the guitar riffs and drums in the song make killing 6 guys with one bullet, while doing a back flip into a pool of lava and surviving perfectly fin seem like the lease epic thing ever. Mario Duplantier is truly a drum god. Overall the entire album blends so well together, it sounds like good old Gojira but better than ever! This album single handily makes up for all the times the french surrendered in war. Lets just hope Randy Blythe gets of out jail so we can see Gojira, Dethklok, and Lamb of God all in one godly sitting! I give L'enfant Sauvage a 4 out of 5 Stars.
